With today’s comic, this storyline comes to an end.

On this particular strip, I especially liked drawing the second panel. Now and then I like to switch to different ‘camera angles’ and I think this one worked out particularly nice.

Today’s comic took me a few tries to ‘get right’. It contains a bit of a different panel layout and the scene of the oracle falling to his unfortunate demise wasn’t very easy to do either. Nevertheless I think it turned out pretty good.

You don’t want to know how many times I had to redraw the running people in today’s strip. In the end, I think it turned out quite nice (better than monday’s strip at least).

With last week’s comic revealing that the Oracle is also the manager of the Trap Emporium and today’s comic detailing his scheme, we’re finally getting close to the conclusion of the 2012 story arc.

On a side note, I don’t often draw ‘action scenes’ and as a result I’m not sure if the third panel of today’s strip ‘works’. What do you guys think?

After a very busy weekend, here’s today’s comic.

When drawing scenes inside the Trap Emporium the backgrounds are one of the hardest but also one of the most fun parts to draw. I liked the idea of ‘famous’ traps from movies appearing in the store, but I ran out of Indiana Jones references soon enough so for today’s comic I turned to reality and video games for inspiration.
