…and with that, the Oracle’s evil plan comes to an end… or does it?
Today’s comic took me a few tries to ‘get right’. It contains a bit of a different panel layout and the scene of the oracle falling to his unfortunate demise wasn’t very easy to do either. Nevertheless I think it turned out pretty good.

I like the timetravel joke. You have to get one point deduction for losing historic accuracy with the sort of small sword…
Wow, it’s a good thing the rest of the storyline is 100% historically accurate then. 😛
(not to mention scientifically accurate; notice how the Oracle’s crown and the dagger defy gravitiy like they would in the real world 😉 )
About the time travel joke; my original idea was to have Otto just discover the existance of the trap in the schematics he found in the Oracle’s hideout, but I thought it would be funnier to let him use the time machine to put it there himself.

I would also like to point out the the Aztecs were the ones who performed human sacrifice. (The sacrifices were usually volunteers.)
The Mayans sacrificed Pain and Blood to their gods. They did this to themselves, not having someone do it to them.
ie. Cut or prick themselves or pull a rope studded with obsidian through their tongue.
